first real snow of the season.
first journal post here.
first time i feel a little bit of peace in awhile.

john, the RD is making a snowman with his daughter grace. well more like he is making it while she instructs and watches, but we're all guilty of that.

there's something about snow that makes me breathe a little deeper, a little longer, a little slower. snow slows everything down. everything that was once brown and ugly from giving into the cold of winter, is now white. clean, new.

snow reminds me of my faith, as brown as my life gets, Christ snows, and i once again have a clean canvas to try again, to make something beautiful, to honor Him.

i hope wherever you all are, that you are able to breathe a little deeper today, and slow down.
